Devastated, Sunny begins investigating Vikram's life. He learns that Tulsi Kumari, a schoolteacher and his childhood sweetheart, recently ended their relationship. Vikram is a wealthy businessman. Tulsi's modest upbringing made her unpopular with Vikram's mother. Vikram left Tulsi despite her genuine love for him due to pressure from his family.

When Vikram has an allergic reaction amid the confusion, Tulsi tends to him, demonstrating her continued concern. Meanwhile, Sunny begins to realize he has fallen in love with Tulsi.
