Shrutika Arjun is an Indian television personality and actress who has acted in Tamil and Malayalam films. She started her acting career as a child artist in the early 2000s but left acting to pursue her education and personal life. She rejoined the entertainment industry in 2022 and received immense popularity after winning the reality cooking show Cooku with Comali 3. In 2024, she participated as a contestant in the Hindi reality television series Bigg Boss 18.

Early Life & Education

Shrutika Arjun was born on 17 September 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her paternal grandfather is the veteran Tamil actor Thengai Srinivasan. She finished her schooling at Adarsh Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School in Chennai. Her father is Tamil, and her mother is Punjabi. Her cousin Yogi and brother Adithya are also connected to the film industry.

Career

Shrutika started her acting career at the age of 14 when she was chosen to play the female lead opposite actor Suriya in the Tamil film "Sri" (2002). The film gained positive reviews, and her performance was well appreciated by critics. Later, she appeared in the Malayalam film "Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam," where she received appreciation for her performance as Ammu.

In 2003, she appeared in supporting roles in the Tamil films "Nala Damayanthi" and "Thithikudhe." Soon after, she chose to leave the film industry to pursue her studies.

After a gap of almost two decades, she made a successful comeback in 2022 through the popular Tamil reality cooking show "Cooku with Comali 3," where she won the title. In 2024, she appeared in the Hindi reality show "Bigg Boss 18," where she became the first Tamil contestant of the season and survived in the house for 96 days.

She further extended her reality television appearances by participating in "The 50," a competitive reality show featuring popular television and digital personalities from all over India.
