The Alliance is an Indian Hindi-language reality competition series it is hosted by Kunal Kemmu and produced by Banijay Asia. The show actually premiered on 26 June 2026 on Prime Video. It features contestants playing a social strategy game where trust , teamwork and betrayal decides who stays in the competition. The series follows an international format made by John de Mol.[1]
Production
The Alliance is produced by Banijay Asia. The series is directed by Nishant Nayak , with Priya Bhave acting as the Project Head and Tarun Panjwani as the Creative Director. It was developed by John de Mol and written by John de Mol, plus Swati Sahay.
The producers include Deepak Dhar, Mrinalini Jain, Rishi Negi and Shyam Rathi. Girish Balan serves as the Co-producer while Chaitali Mukherjee is the Executive Producer. Sudhir Koushik is the Director of Photography and Karan Mally is the Casting Director, meanwhile Sylvester Dias serves as the Head of Production.[2][3]
Concept and Format
The series starts with 16 contestants entering the show as eight pairs. They get split into four teams, then compete in challenges that pressure their strategy, group work, and social finesse.
As time goes on, alliances shift, and that trust is constantly being tested. Contestants have to make hard choices, including turning on their allies in order to stay in the game. Each week there is elimination, and sometimes new participants join in too. The winner is the contestant who can keep trust, strategy, and deception in balance.
Host
The series is hosted by Kunal Kemmu, marking his debut as the host of a reality competition show.[4]
