Harsh Vijay Machare, professionally known as Yung DSA, is an Indian rapper and hip hop artist from Pune, Maharashtra, India. Yung DSA is known for his raw and desi hip hop style that involves trap beats and Indian influences including the influences of Marathi music. He made a mark with his track Yeda Yung which was released in 2024 by Gully Gang Records and gained popularity in 2025. In 2026, he participated in the TV show Bigg Boss 20.[1][2][3]
Early Life
Harsh Vijay Machare, professionally known as Yung DSA, is from Yerwada in Pune, Maharashtra. He developed an interest in rap and hip hop at an early age and started rapping at the age of 12.
His songs have significant Pune influences and also include many references to Pune and its local culture.
Career
Yung DSA started his journey into rap from a very early age but did not work within the music industry until after earning his livelihood. Before being a professional musician, he used to work in a BPO firm.
He got recognition through his single song titled "Yeda Yung" released in 2024 for Gully Gang Records. His popularity grew in 2025, after which his name spread throughout the independent hip-hop circles of India with the help of his song "Yeda Yung". The Pune-centric nature of the track and his unique desi rap style was an important aspect of his recognition. The other songs that he made after the release of "Yeda Yung" include "Maaf Kar", "Chala Kalti" and "Rade Rapate".
Furthermore, Yung DSA diversified into Bollywood music. He made a rap song with the title "Goni Mein Paisa" which was included in the film "Toaster", which starred Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra. This song was composed by Aman Pant and it was his first-ever Bollywood song.
In 2026, Yung DSA joined the reality show "Bigg Boss 20" as a participant. The show is hosted by Salman Khan.
