Tiger Shroff, born Jai Hemant Shroff, is a popular Indian actor, martial artist, dancer, and model in Bollywood. Superstar Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff's eldest child, he debuted as an actor in Heropanti (2014) with Kriti Sanon. Tiger, who is well-known for his thrilling parts in movies like the Baaghi series, is regarded by Forbes 100 as one of the most successful and powerful Bollywood actors. In addition to being an actor, he is a well-known Pepsi India ambassador, a professional dancer, a model, and the creator of Prowl. As a follower of Lord Shiva, he maintains a spiritual regimen while inspiring fans with his commitment to both fitness and movies. Audiences are eagerly awaiting his next films, which include Heropanti 2, Ganapath, and Rambo.

Early Life & Education

Tiger Shroff, whose real name is Jai Hemant Shroff, was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on March 2, 1990. He has a younger sister named Ayesha Shroff and is the eldest child of Bollywood celebrities Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff. Given that his mother is Bengali and his father is Gujarati, Tiger comes from a multicultural family.

Tiger had a strong interest in martial arts and fitness from an early age. Inspired by legendary action star Bruce Lee, he started learning Taekwondo and Wushu when he was four years old. His Bollywood career would later be defined by his early martial arts training, which helped him gain recognition for his own stunts and action scenes.

Tiger Shroff received his education at the American School of Bombay, where he also developed his passion for sports and dance. He attended Amity University in Noida for his further education, but he soon left to follow his ambition of becoming a Bollywood actor. Heropanti (2014), a romantic action film that laid the groundwork for his career in the Hindi film industry, was the result of his decision.

During his school years, Tiger participated actively in sports, fitness, and dance in addition to academics and martial arts. This helped him build a diverse skill set that would later help him become known as one of Bollywood's most gifted action stars.

Career

Heropanti (2014), a romantic action movie produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sabbir Khan, marked Tiger Shroff's Bollywood debut. The movie, in which he starred opposite Kriti Sanon, was both a critical and financial success. He won multiple accolades for his performance, including Star Debut of the Year at IIFA and Best Debut Male at the Filmfare Awards.

He starred in the action-packed 2016 movie Baaghi, which was a huge box office success. He won the BIG Star Entertainment Award for Most Entertaining Dancer and the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Dancing Star for his role in the superhero action-comedy A Flying Jatt that same year.

In Munna Michael (2017) and Baaghi 2 (2018), he further displayed his action and dance prowess. In 2019, he costarred with Hrithik Roshan in the popular action movie War, which became one of his highest-grossing films, and the romantic comedy Student of the Year 2, which was produced by Dharma Productions.

Following their reunion for Baaghi 3 (2020), Tiger and Shraddha Kapoor starred opposite Tara Sutaria in Heropanti 2 (2022). His next projects, which are eagerly awaited for their action-packed scenes, include Rambo (2023), Baaghi 4 (2025), War 2 (2025), Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Ganapath: Hero is Born (2023) with Kriti Sanon.
