Early Life & Education
Dr. Ajay Kumar Yadav was born in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father is Subedar Lalta Prasad Yadav. His early life can be described as disciplined, dedicated, and having patriotic values. Ajay completed his early education from Prerna Hindi High School, Ahmedabad, and thereafter completed his Intermediate from DAV Public School, Ambala Cantt.
After taking admission to B.Com (First Year), he joined the Indian Army after being selected. While on duty, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. He also completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) from the same institution. Apart from this, he has also completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course. After retiring in 2022, he continued his academic journey, and he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2025.
Career
Dr. Yadav served for the Indian Army almost for 20 years. During that period, he was part of many key military operations: Operation Rakshak, Operation Parakram, Jammu & Kashmir Counter-Insurgency Operations, Operation Meghdoot, and Operation Rhino. He was accorded multiple Gallantry Medals for bravery and leadership.
After retiring from the Army in 2022, Dr. Yadav actively indulged in social services and health-related activities. He is associated with Mahamaya Rajkiya Medical College, Sadar Pur, Ambedkar Nagar, and continues to contribute to community welfare initiatives.
