Kushal Tandon is an Indian actor, and model, mostly he works in Hindi television. He is well known especially for Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Beyhadh, and Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka. He has been on reality shows such as Nach Baliye 5, Bigg Boss 7, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 and he participated as a contestant in the Prime Video reality show The Alliance, hosted by Kunal Kemmu.

Early Life and Education

Kushal Tandon was born on 28 March 1985 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling at The Scindia School in Gwalior. He later studied at Hansraj College, Delhi, and received acting training at the New York Film Academy in the United States.

Career

Kushal Tandon started out his career as a model, and later he was the first runner-up in the Grasim Mr. India contest back in 2005. After doing his acting training, he made his television debut with Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai where he played Virat Singh Vadhera . That part, pretty much gave him broad recognition.

In 2012, he took part in Nach Baliye 5 with Elena Boeva. Then in 2013, he appeared in Bigg Boss 7, and his connection with fellow contestant Gauahar Khan brought a lot of media hype.

Later, Kushal went on to star as Arjun Sharma in Sony TV’s Beyhadh opposite Jennifer Winget. He was also seen in web series like Hum – I'm Because of Us and Bebaakee, besides doing the film Unlock..

By 2023, he played Reyansh Lamba in Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, and viewers + critics appreciated his portrayal . Then in 2026, he became one of the contestants in The Alliance, an Indian reality show hosted by Kunal Kemmu and streamed on Prime Video.

Outside of acting, Kushal has a restaurant called Arbour 28 in Mumbai.

Personal Life

Kushal Tandon was earlier seeing actress Gauahar Khan, after meeting her during Bigg Boss 7. They later went separate ways in 2014, like really soon after. He also had a relationship with actress Shivangi Joshi, whom he met while shooting Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka.
