Production

The sequel was created as the second and last installment of the Dhurandhar duology. The film was initially conceived as one film, but eventually, the filmmakers decided to divide it into two parts due to the film’s grand scale and complex narrative. The two parts were shot simultaneously. The film shoot began in July 2024 and continued till October 2025 in India and Thailand. The film had some additional shooting done in early 2026.

Soundtrack

The music has been given by Shashwat Sachdev, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. The music rights were acquired by T-Series for ₹27 crores. The first song, "Aari Aari," was released on 12 March 2026, followed by "Main Aur Tu" on 17 March 2026. The entire album was released on 17 March 2026 in Mumbai.

Release

Dhurandhar 2 will be released on 19 March 2026.
