Dhurandhar: The Revenge is an upcoming Indian spy action-thriller film in Hindi, directed by Aditya Dhar, and it is a sequel to Dhurandhar (2025). The film stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and others. The story is about an undercover spy from India, infiltrating the crime and politics of Karachi, while also seeking revenge for the 26/11 attacks.
The film was shot between July 2024 and October 2025 in India and Thailand. The film is 229 minutes long, making it one of the longest Indian films. It is set for release on 19 March 2026, coinciding with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid.[1][2]

Production
The sequel was created as the second and last installment of the Dhurandhar duology. The film was initially conceived as one film, but eventually, the filmmakers decided to divide it into two parts due to the film’s grand scale and complex narrative. The two parts were shot simultaneously. The film shoot began in July 2024 and continued till October 2025 in India and Thailand. The film had some additional shooting done in early 2026.
Soundtrack
The music has been given by Shashwat Sachdev, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. The music rights were acquired by T-Series for ₹27 crores. The first song, "Aari Aari," was released on 12 March 2026, followed by "Main Aur Tu" on 17 March 2026. The entire album was released on 17 March 2026 in Mumbai.

Release
Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be hitting the screens on 19th March 2026 with the release of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid. It will also be releasing in other languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. It received an A certificate due to high levels of violence depicted in the movie. It also has a run time of 229 minutes. It will have preview releases the day before the movie releases, just like the first part. It is banned in the GCC countries like the first part.
Digital rights are acquired by JioHotstar for ₹150 crore, and the satellite rights are acquired by Star Gold for ₹50 crore.
Marketing
A small glimpse of the sequel was shown in the post-credits scene of the first film, disclosing the name and release date of the film. It was initially assumed that the teaser would release with Border 2 on 30 January 2026, but this did not take place. The official teaser was later released independently on 3 February 2026, using similar content as seen in the initial glimpse with a few changes. The official trailer was released on 7 March 2026, with both the teaser and trailer being edited by Ojas Gautam.
