Daisy Shah is an Indian actress, model, and dancer, who mostly works in Hindi and Kannada films. She started out as a dancer, plus an assistant choreographer, under Ganesh Acharya, before she finally got an acting break through the Kannada film Bhadra (2011) and kinda moved from there. After that, she got noticeably more attention with Salman Khan’s Jai Ho (2014) and later showed up in films like Hate Story 3, Race 3, and Gujarat 11.[1][2][3][4] She has also taken part in reality television, including Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 (2023) and Amazon Prime Video’s The Alliance (2026).

Early Life & Education

Daisy Shah was born on 25 August 1984, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She belongs to a Gujarati family, and she did her schooling in Mumbai itself. During her time in 10th standard, she won the Miss Photogenic title at the MS Dombivli contest. Later on, she graduated in Arts from Khalsa College, Mumbai, and that was a big milestone for her.

Career

Daisy Shah began her work cycle as an assistant to the well-known choreographer Ganesh Acharya, and she was involved in films like Zameen and Khakee. After that, she shifted toward modelling, appearing in advertisements, print campaigns, and music videos before moving into acting with Bhadra in 2011.[5][6]

Then in 2014 she made her Hindi debut opposite Salman Khan in Jai Ho, which gave her broad, nationwide visibility, more than before. After Jai Ho she appeared in Hate Story 3, Race 3, Ramratan, Mystery of the Tattoo, and also the Gujarati film Gujarat 11 where her work was welcomed, and reviewers had positive remarks.[7][8][9]

Besides movies, Daisy Shah kind of widened her path into TV and digital entertainment stuff too. In 2023 she joined the stunt based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and yeah, it was pretty high-energy. Then in 2024, she showed up in the web series Red Room. Fast forward to 2026, and she became one of the contestants for Amazon Prime Video’s reality show The Alliance, which is hosted by Kunal Kemmu.[10][11]
