He is also the creator of Ray Shade Home Technology, which is an energy-efficient residential construction approach, made with tropical climates in mind.
Early Life & Education
Er. Sanju Surendran Girija was born on 20 May 1989 in Kulathoor Village, Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India, to Surendran S. and Girija. He completed his schooling in different parts of India. His early education was in Secunderabad, followed by his Secondary School education at Sree Vidyadhiraja Vidya Nilayam, Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram. Later, he finished Higher Secondary education at St. John's Senior Secondary School, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. After that, he pursued engineering studies at NIPC and completed AMIIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers). He also earned the professional title of Chartered Engineer (India) and obtained several internationally recognized professional certifications, including:

- Certified Management Professional (CMP)
- Certified Construction Law Specialist (CCLS)

Career
In 2020 , in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Er. Sanju Surendran Girija started Wallenford Construction & Interiors, with a vision to keep quality residential construction more reachable while still holding onto high engineering standards. With him at the helm, the firm has grown into a multidisciplinary construction group, now bringing together Wallenford Construction & Interiors, Wallenford Builders & Developers and Wallenford Traders.[3]
They offer end-to-end turnkey construction solutions, from architectural planning , engineering, structural design, and full construction, all the way through interior design, project management, property valuation, structural audits, technical due diligence, and construction consultancy.
Before Wallenford, Er. Sanju built up professional experience through major engineering works across India as well as the Middle East. He worked on structural steel activities for Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 and the Dubai Sports Complex, plus hospitality developments, commercial buildings and also residential infrastructure projects. He also designed and carried out multiple Jamaica Blue Coffee outlets in Dubai, independently, while supporting other work connected to Flora Group Hotels and Emirati residential developments.
