Sara Arjun is an Indian actress who works in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam films. She began performing at a very young age, and her portrayal of Nila in the 2011 Tamil movie Deiva Thirumagal helped her gain widespread recognition. Sara Arjun was born 18 June 2005 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of actor Raj Arjun. At the age of one and a half, she began doing commercials. She appeared in over 100 commercials prior to her film debut.
Career
Sara Arjun began her career at a very young age, getting her first advertisement when she was spotted at a mall by a talent scout. She appeared in over 100 commercials, including a popular McDonald's advertisement, which brought her early recognition. Director A. L. Vijay noticed her talent and cast her in the Tamil film Deiva Thirumagal (2011), where her portrayal of the sensitive and endearing child, Nila, earned critical acclaim and nationwide recognition. Following this breakthrough, she acted in films across multiple languages, including Ek Thi Daayan (2013, Hindi), Chithirayil Nilachoru (2013, Tamil), Saivam (2014, Tamil), Jazbaa (2015, Hindi), Ann Maria Kalippilaanu (2016, Malayalam), and the historical epic Ponniyin Selvan I & II (Tamil), where she played young Nandini. In 2025, she appeared in the Hindi spy action film Dhurandhar and is also part of its sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge (2026).
